The following sentences are written in poor English and are unclear. If no one can be found to edit it, I would suggest deleting all and replacing with "was imprisoned again".
" Sadat returned again and finally to prison. In Qarmidan prison, he faced the most difficult ordeals of imprisonment by being held in solitary confinement, but the first accused in the Hussein Tawfiq case, escaped, and after there is no criminality evidence all the charges fall and the suspected went free. And the young officer, Salah Zulfikar, at that time was the officer in charge in the prison, and he believed in his heart of Sadat's heroism and that he played a patriotic role towards his country, even though he was imprisoned and his conviction that they were imprisoned because of their love for their country. Zulfikar brought with him food, newspapers and cigarettes for the gentlemen, and helped his family a lot in obtaining visitor permits to check on him."
There is more unclear expression.
I would have edited if the article was unlocked, but I have no further interest in editing it and will not be returning. Bye.

Anwar Sadat and his wife Jehan Sadat got married in 1949 not 1970 which was the year Sadat became President of Egypt and his wife First Lady, but they married 31 years prior to that. 77.126.162.181 (talk) 00:11, 19 March 2024 (UTC)

Hey, I noticed that there seems to be an error in the second paragraph of the first section, it says "in his 1 years of presidency," Shouldn't this be "in his 11 years of presidency? YourAverageWeeb (talk) 18:46, 29 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello there, I have found two small errors in the article (a redundant markdown closing tag and a "dead link").
In the notes section[1] there is currently a redundant </ref> closing tag. The section currently renders as:
"... Oxford University Press.</ref>[4] Arabic: محمد أنور السادات ..."
I have also noticed that the given link after that ref tag (the one named 4 in the above plain-text preview) only redirects to the homepage of dictionary.com and not the entry for Sadat on that website.
I have inspected the wiki-markdown of the article and the snippet I am referring to currently looks like this:
Muhammad Anwar es-Sadat
Below, I have changed the link to the entry for Sadat found at dictionary.com and marked in bold with a line strike-through the closing </ref> tag that I think is redundant:
Muhammad Anwar es-Sadat
So updating the link and removing the closing </ref> tag marked in the snippet above in bold and with a dash through it should fix the issues. The Hurdy Gurdy Man (talk) 16:49, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
